The Art and Craft of Greene & Greene pays tribute to an incredible body of work created by brother

architects in turn-of-the-century Southern California. Long celebrated as one of the most influential

creative forces of the American Arts & Crafts movements, the Greenes not only designed exquisite

homes, such as the Gamble House, but every decorative element within them, including furniture,

stained glass, light fixtures, and metalwork. This exhibition, organized by the Huntington Museum

and Library and the Gamble House, includes examples in each medium, and is the first devoted to

their work to open at a national venue.

The Art and Craft of Greene & Greene exhibition is on view at the Renwick Gallery from March 13
